Supplies Included:
- Mesh Stencil – Happy Easter
- Gel Art Ink – Creek Don’t Rise (sample)
- Gel Art Ink – Hey Y’all (sample)
- Gel Art Ink – Metallic Copper (sample)
- ChalkArt Spreader
Additional Supplies Needed:
- Cloth Napkins
- Painters’ Tape
Instructions:
- Begin by cutting out your stencils and then placing the bunny pattern along the bottom edge of your napkin.
- Next, mix a dab of both the Creek Don’t Rise and Hey Y’all Gel Art Inks to create a medium teal color. Then place random swatches of all three colors along the stencil. Use the ChalkArt Spreader to then push the ink through the mesh.
- Carefully remove the stencil, move it down, and finish the row repeating step 2. Once done, wash stencil in lukewarm water.
- Once dry, place two pieces of painters’ tape down above the bunny design to create a thin stripe. Be sure to burnish (firmly rub) the inner edges of the tape.
- Then use the ChalkArt Spreader to apply a thin layer of Metallic Copper Gel Art Ink to the stripe, scraping off any excess ink. Carefully remove the painters’ tape once done.
- On a different napkin, place the “Happy Easter” wreath stencil centered on the bottom portion of the napkin. Then apply the Metallic Copper Gel Art Ink to the wording. Next, repeat the process in steps 2-3 for the wreath portion. Once everything has had at least 2 hours to dry, set the ink using a hot iron (no steam).
